DELHI BJP COMMEMORATES QUIT INDIA DAY'S 75th ANNIVERSARY BY PAYING TRIBUTES TO FREEDOM FIGHTERS & MARTYRS
On 9 August 1942 Gandhi ji gave the Quit India call against Britishers to free India from colonial rule and today we have to stand up on this day to fight against terrorists trying to hurt our freedom-Manoj Tiwari
Today while paying tributes at Mahatma Gandhi's Samadhi I also pay tribute to the great martyrs and unsung heroes of the freedom movement-Shyam Jaju

New Delhi, 9th August. Delhi BJP today commemorated 9th August Quit India Day's 75th anniversary with party leaders & workers visiting the samadhis & memorial parks of great freedom fighters & martyrs and paying them floral tributes.
Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari paid tributes to great martyrs of freedom movement Saheeda Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru ji & Sahedev ji at Saheedi Park near I.T.O. He was accompanied by General Secretary Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Mayur Vihar District BJP President Shri Lalit Joshi and large number of party workers.
Addressing the assembled workers Shri Manoj Tiwari said like the Independence Day the Quit India Day 9th August too has equal importance and this day inspires us to stand up for the country. BJP National Vice President Shri Shyam Jaju paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. He was accompanied by Pradesh Vice President Shri Jai Prakash, Chandni Chowk District BJP President Shri Arvind Garg and large number of party workers.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Shyam Jaju said that Mahatma Gandhi led the country's freedom movement, lacs of Indians joined the freedom movement at his call of 9 August 1942. Today while paying tributes at Mahatma Gandhi's Samadhi I also pay tribute to the great martyrs and unsung heroes of the freedom movement.
BJP National Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh garlanded the bust of one of the first freedom fighters of India Maharaja Ranjeet Singh near Barakhamba Road Metro Station. He was accompanied by NDMC Member Shri B.S. Bhatti, New Delhi District BJP Gen. Secretary Shri Rajeev Rana and other workers.

Delhi BJP General Secretary Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal paid floral tributes to Baba Saheb Bheem Rao Ambedkar at his memorial Ambedkar Bhawan behind Pahar Ganj Police Station. He was accompained by Pradesh Secretary Shri Rajesh Lawadia, Councillor Smt. Babita Bharija and other workers.
Delhi BJP General Secretary Shri Ravinder Gupta garlanded the statue of Rani of Jhansi Luxmi Bai near Jhandewalan, R.J. Road and paid tributes to the great martyr. He was accompanied by Pradesh Secretary Shri Rajesh Lawadia.
Delhi BJP's Yuva Morcha workers led by their President Shri Sunil Yadav held BHARAT JODO ABHIYAN at Vijay Chowk. Union Minister Shri Ananth Kumar & Shri Kiren Rijiju, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari, Yuva Morcha's National President Smt. Poonam Mahajan joined and addressed the workers.
Hundreds of Chandni Chowk District BJP workers took part in a Mashal March in Sadar Bazar which was led by Delhi BJP Incharge Shri Shyam Jaju & District President Shri Arvind Garg.
BJP workers led by former Mayor Shri Mahesh Chand Sharma garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekanand at Sarai Rohilla while Ballimaran Mandal workers garlanded Swami Vivekanand's statue at Khari Baoli. Chandni Chowk Mandal workers garlanded statue of freedom fighterSmt. Sushila Mohan near Town Hall and Kamla Nagar Mandal workers garlanded Sardar Bhagat Singh's bust at Kamla Nagar.
