Delhi BJP PRESIDENT Shri Manoj Tiwari ANNOUNCES PARTY NOMINEES FOR THE VARIOUS OFFICES OF NORTH D.M.C.

New Delhi, 11th May. Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari today around forenoon announced that party leadership has decided that Smt. Preety Aggarwal will be the party's candidate for the election to the office of Mayor, North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Shri Tiwari also announced names of party councillors for election to other prominent offices of North D.M.C.
Later in the afternoon a small meeting of Delhi BJP's North M.C.D. councillors took place at the Civic Centre in the presence of Pradesh BJP General Secretary Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal. Senior leaders Sh. Subhash Arya & Shri V.P. Pandey were also present.
Smt. Preety Aggarwal councillor from Rohini-F ward will be the party's candidate for the office of Mayor while Shri Vijay Bhagat councillor from Swami Sharda Nand Colony ward will be party's nominee for Deputy Mayor election.
Shri Tilak Raj Kataria councillor from Shalimar Bagh South ward , Shri Jai Prakash councillor from Sadar Bazar ward, Shri Ramesh Kumar councillor from East Patel Nagar ward & Shri Jayendra Dabas councillor from Rani Khera ward shall be party's nominees for election to the Standing Committee from the general house of North D.M.C.
It was decided by the Party that Shri Tilak Raj Kataria will be Chairman of Standing Committee while Shri Ramesh Kumar will be Dy. Chairman of Standing Committee
After the meeting Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal said that people of Delhi have reposed a strong faith in BJP and they wish to see BJP work to turn Delhi into the best capital of the world.
Shri Chahal expressed confidence that the new councillors will work hard to help fulfil the dream of P.M. Shri Narendra Modi to develop Delhi into the best city of the country. He said we have to ensure a fully digital and transparent working of the civic body in next 2 years as promised by our President Shri Manoj Tiwari in the Sankalp Patra 2017.
